The BTEC Level 2 Diploma in Creative Media Production is designed to give you an introduction to creative technologies used in the media industry. The qualification is nationally recognised and is equivalent to 4 GCSEs at grades A*-C.

What will I be doing?

Delivered in Confetti’s first-rate facilities, this course will give you skills in various areas of the creative media industries. The course covers 'core' areas including video production, animation, computer game reviews, audio production and the structure of the industry. It also focuses on the organisation of companies, available jobs, product targeting and market research. Throughout the programme, you will be developing your own 'multimedia products' to assist in achieving your creative potential. Working in groups and individually, you will use specially designed media spaces including video editing facilities, recording studios and graphics/animation suites to develop project ideas.

How do I get onto the course?

You need to have 4 GCSEs at any grade (or equivalent), including at least a grade D in English. Applicants must also be able to demonstrate an interest in gaming technologies. If you are interested, please contact us to arrange an interview.
