Our links with industry

Our links with industry are what stands Confetti apart from other colleges and universities. 

Confetti Institute of Creative Technologies is part of The Confetti Media Group  - a family of five companies including a TV and Film production company called Spool, a record label called Denizen, an interior design and technology company called Constellations and a creative business centre called Antenna. All this is right on Confetti’s doorstep and offers all our students a unique insight and potential work experience in the real world of work in the creative and digital media industries.

Secondly, all our tutors are people who have had, and still have, a successful career – many of whom still work as sound engineers, film makers, camera operators, music producers, games designers, DJs and business entrepreneurs.

Thirdly, all our equipment and technology is state of the art and industry standard. This means that you’ll be trained to use the same equipment that you’ll be expected to know about when you start your professional career, with no need to retrain from scratch.

All of our links with industry are celebrated every year in a special week we call Industry Week. For one week only we stop the classroom timetable to bring in a range of very special guest speakers who deliver lectures, seminars, interactive workshops and demo sessions, designed to give you the inside knowledge about how to make it in your career.
